Bob Marley slept here?

We left Managua early this morning and travelled to a  gorgeous lake/volcano overlook for lunch. The Tico boys rode horses today and loved it ' very sweet. We then stopped at a very famous market in Masayeh and picked up some souvenirs. I almost bought a basket made from a real chicken or a real stuffed frog playing a marimba but I chose some other treasures. We then Stopped overnight in San Juan ' something, I am pretty sure it is not PR...we are staying in a youth hostel in a surfing beach and literally everyone here has dred-locks- it is quite amusing! There are 8 of us per room, one shower, no towels, no locks, and quite a diverse clientele. As you can see, they Do have intenet but they also have a crazy spanish keyboard!

Besides the dreds and joke and guitars and very amusing environment, what you really see most of all is the love among God´s people - people of every description obeying God´s call to GO and be the Light of the world. Have I talked about the nativity yet? There are huge wonderful extravagant nativity scenes on every corner - THE focus of this season really really IS the baby in the manger. I feel like that is one thing I am taking home from this trip- JESUS is BIG NEWS in Latin america! I have a new perspective on so many things - Christmas, prayer, international relations, culture, family, love, beans, frozen ice cream in a bag, surfers.....  Well, much to say but the security guard just pitched us off the internet and sent us to our luxurious suites! One more day with our friends and then back home we come, to the snow, and the excess and the HOLIDAY MACHINE.... >So much to think about! Love to all!
